Test Prep

College Entrance Testing

Should my child take the ACT or the SAT?  What is considered a good score?  How many times should the test be taken?  When should they take the test?  What scores do colleges look for regarding admissions and/or scholarships? These are the questions that run across everyone’s mind as your family prepares to send your student onto the next big phase of life.

Let us help you figure it all out

SAT & ACT

We are proud to offer test prep assistance for both the ACT and the SAT. Students do tend to vary their competency a bit across the two so we can help prep for both. SAT and ACT prep is ideal for junior and senior students who have taken one or both exams previously.

FOCUS AREAS

Our three main focus areas for improvement are within English, Reading and Math. We see these areas translate into the greatest growth in scores. We do have assistance available in Science and Writing as well, for those in need of help.

Committment

We know that life is extremely busy but your child’s academic success is imperative. We have broken down the focus areas by how much time it traditionally takes for students to see strong improvements.
10-15 hours is the average prep time

Students will do more than simply take the practice tests over and over again.  We will be identifying the strengths and

weaknesses and will work to improve scores across the board with individualized tutoring. Let us partner with your

child, build on their strengths, and improve upon the areas that need the most attention.  Doing so will allow them to

approach the test with a new-found confidence, allowing them to achieve their highest score possible.
